Motherson Sumi Systems has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The company’s net profit has increased by 36.58% at Rs 110.36 crore as compared to Rs 80.80 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income has increased by 12.52% to Rs 1227.55 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1090.95 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported over two fold jump in its net profit at Rs 163.73 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 73.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Its total income has increased by 18.47% at Rs 8396.45 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 7086.87 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.
