Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Thursday

Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Thursday due to buyer resistance in the market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety weakened to Rs 130/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 126/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, contract of August delivery improved to Rs 129 compared to its previous closing of Rs 128.40, while September delivery closed at Rs 129.10 compared to its previous close of Rs 128.82 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
