Date: 03-11-2010Aditya Birla group company and cement major UltraTech said that its October production rose 18.16 per cent at 34.67 lakh metric tonnes (MT) compared to the year-ago period. Its despatches increased 21.26 per cent at 34.19 lakh MT in October this year compared to the year-ago period.
For the April-October period, its cement production rose 5.98 per cent at 220.97 lakh MT as against 208.50 lakh MT in the year-ago period. Despatches during the period increased 6.51 per cent 220.29 lakh MT as against 206.83 lakh MT.crackcrack
