Axis Bank, the country’s third largest private sector bank, has reportedly unveiled its third season the ‘Shopaholics Online Festival’. The bank has tied up with 52 reputed online merchants across 8 different categories, to offer online flash sale exclusively for Axis Bank Credit & Debit Cardholders. Offers will be available on a wide bouquet of categories namely Travel, Bill Payments & Recharge, Mobiles & electronics, Entertainment, Apparel & Accessories, Books Stationery & Gifts, Food & Groceries & Homes & Lifestyle. This three-day festival has started from September 2, 2014.

The bank’s net profit for first quarter ended June 30, 2014 rose by 18.29% at Rs 1666.76 crore as compared to Rs 1408.93 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Its total income increased by 10.17% to Rs 9980.47 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 9059.12 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
