Coal India plans to spend Rs 235 crore for clean India initiative

Coal India (CIL), the world’s largest coal miner by output, is planning to spend Rs 235 crore for clean India initiative during this financial year. The money will be spend in building toilets in schools and in the houses of the under privileged. This amount is exactly half of the company’s CSR budget in 2014-15.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
