Bharti Airtel’s cross operator music application Wynk has crossed its first milestone witnessing 1 lakh downloads in just 4 days of its launch. Out of total, more than 50 percent of consumers are from other telecom players. The company had launched Wynk on September 2, becoming the first operator to introduce an over-the-top (OTT) mobile application in the domestic market. The company’s launch is being seen as an attempt to eat into the revenue share of the application service providers.
