L&T has secured orders worth Rs 700 crore in the material handling and water segment. The company has bagged a Rs 375-crore order from Jabalpur Municipal Corporation for construction of 210 km of drains.

The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation has placed a Rs 165-crore order for development of water supply facilities, wastewater collection, storm-water drain network and associated work in its industrial estates at Panipat and Rai.

It has also got a Rs 160-crore order from Bhushan steel for supply of conveyors and equipment for raw material handling for its six mtpa plant at Meramandali, Orissa.
