Bosch’s Bangalore plant's workmen to go on strike from September 16, 2014

Bosch’s Bangalore plant's workmen have decided to go on strike with effect from September 16, 2014 in order to press for their unreasonable demands. The strike will be considered as illegal and the Management is in discussion with the employee union to restore normalcy at the earliest with the intervention of the Additional Labour Commissioner, Karnataka.

Bosch is a major player in the diesel segment and 60% of its sales come from diesel segment. It is also among the larger suppliers of common rail direct injection (CRDI) systems in India. The company buys half of the components required for the CRDI systems (by value) locally.
