JSW Energy commissions 300-MW unit in Maharashtra
Date: 02-09-2010JSW Energy, part of the JSW Group, has commissioned commercial operation of the first unit of 300 MW of the 1,200-MW (4x300 MW) thermal power project at Jaigad, Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra.
The power generated from the plant will be sold to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company according to the terms of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2005. JSW Energy envisages all the four units to be operational by the end this fiscal.crackcrack
