F&O total turnover stood at Rs 170231.65 crore on June 20

Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 170231.65 crore on June 20, and the total numbers of contract traded on the day were 6507055.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 18975.10 crore, Stock Futures Rs 16228.74 crore, and Index Options Rs 131169.90 crore while, the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 3857.91 crore.

For the day the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 0.87 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 0.89 and that of Stock Options was 0.45.

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were BEML 3.00, Bharat Forge 3.00, Sintex 2.00, PNB 1.57 and Sun Pharma 1.54.

Among most active underlying, GTL witnessed a contraction of 1.28% of Open Interest (OI) in the June month futures contract followed by RIL too witnessed a contraction 0.98% of Open Interest (OI) in the near month contract. Meanwhile Tata Motors witnessed an addition of 7.24% of OI in the June month futures while SBI witnessed a contraction of 2.67% of OI in the June month futures.
