Date: 07-09-2010Tata Steel has raised the prices of flat products by about Rs 1,000 a tonne on account of a pick-up in demand and the prevailing market trend with effect from September 3. There is no increase in long product prices.
Earlier, on September 2, SAIL and JSW Steel had increased the price of flat products by Rs 1,000 a tonne on account of a pick-up in demand after the end of the monsoon.crackcrack
