Relief to Godrej against copycat soap maker

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) has received some relief on its plaint in the Bombay High Court, which has restrained a company from selling soap called 'Gandhi No 1' for bearing a striking resemblance to 'Godrej No 1' brand. Granting ad interim relief in favour of Godrej, it restrained Gandhi soaps from marketing and selling products till September 13, when the notice is returnable.
