Firstsource bags five-year contract from Axis Bank

BPO Company Firstsource Solutions has bagged a five-year outsourcing contract from the private sector Axis Bank. It will offer customer contact services (covering voice, email and Web chat) to the retail customers of Axis Bank and will be across the fixed, savings and current account categories while credit card services will be to Platinum, Corporate, Regular and Travel Card customers from centres in Mumbai and Chennai in 11 Indian languages.

The company did not disclose the size of the contract, but the revenues from the latest contract will kick-in from the second half of the current fiscal.
