Suven Life Sciences gets 2 new US patents

Suven Life Sciences has received patents from the US for two new chemical entities (NCEs) used in treating disorders associated with the central nervous system. With the patents valid till 2022, the products of these inventions may be out-licensed at various phases of clinical trials.

The two patents include selective compounds discovered by Suven that are useful in treatment of disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson, Schizophrenia and Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder.The market for the cognitive disorders in the Central Nervous System arena has an estimated $ 30 billion market potential globally.
