Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.

Tata Motors' group global sales were up 29 per cent to 85,114 units in August against the year-ago period. However, they were down 6 per cent from the preceding month's 90,646 units. Sales so far this fiscal are up 42 per cent to touch 4.25 lakh units. These include commercial vehicles and passenger cars in India as well as sales of Jaguar and Land Rover and of the subsidiaries, Tata Daewoo and Hispano Carrocera.

JLR sales were up 29 per cent to 16,220 units on a month-on-month basis. While Land Rover grew 28 per cent to 12,432 units, Jaguar sales increased 33 per cent to 3,788 units.
