Kalpataru Power bags orders worth Rs 550 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has secured three orders worth over Rs 550 crore from the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO) and Parbati Koldam Transmission Company.

 

It has signed two contracts with Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO), Kenya, for turnkey construction of its transmission network. The combined value of both the projects is Rs 453 crore and the contractual completion deadline is 27 months. The projects are being funded by the Agence Francaise de Development and European Investment Bank.

 

KPTL has also received another order from Parbati Koldam Transmission Company, a joint venture between PowerGrid Corporation and Reliance ADAG, for supply and erection of the Koldam-Ludhiana Transmission Line. The total value of the order is Rs 100 crore. The current order book of KPTL stands at over Rs 5,200 crore. crackcrack
