Suven Life wins 8th product patent in Australia, Mexico

Suven Life Sciences Ltd has been granted a product patent in Australia and Mexico for one of its new chemical entities for the treatment of disorders associated with neurodegenerative diseases. The patents are valid until 2023 and 2025, respectively.

The granted claims of the patents include the class of selective 5-HT compounds discovered by Suven and are being developed as therapeutic agents.The chemical entities are useful in the treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, attention deficient hyperactivity disorder, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson and Schizophrenia.
