Coal India Ltd.

Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner by output, has reported provisional production of 34.88 million tonnes in September 2014, as against target of 36.17 million tonnes. The company’s total off-take for the month of September stood at 35.12 million tonnes as against a target of 36.76 million tonnes.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
