Date: 20-10-2014AXIS Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The bank has posted a rise of 18.23% in its net profit at Rs 1610.71 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 1362.31 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 12.53% at Rs 10549.97 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 9375.08 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.
Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) increased to 1.34% in the July-September quarter as against 1.19% in the same quarter previous year while net NPAs increased to 0.44%.
