Date: 21-10-2014HDFC Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The bank has posted a rise of 20.13% in its net profit at Rs 2381.46 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 1982.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 16.39% at Rs 13894.73 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 11937.69 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.
Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) improved to 1.00% in the July-September quarter as against 1.10% in the same quarter previous year, while net NPAs stood to 0.30%.
