Asian Paints reports 6% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Asian Paints has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company has registered 4.85% rise in its net profit at Rs 325.67 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 310.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 18.08% at Rs 3046.21 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 2579.86 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company’s net profit after taxes and minority interest for the quarter under review registered 6.26% growth at Rs 347.30 crore against Rs 326.84 crore in the September quarter of previous fiscal. The company’s total income has increased by 16.48% at Rs 3680.92 crore for the quarter from Rs 3160.03 crore in the similar quarter of previous year.
