Wipro reports 8% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

The company has registered 21.97% rise in its net profit at Rs 1992.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1633.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 8.54% at Rs 10825.20 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 9973.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company’s net profit after taxes and minority interest and share in profit of associates for the quarter under review surged 7.90% at Rs 2084.80 crore against Rs 1932.10 crore in the September quarter of previous fiscal. The company’s total income has increased by 8.78% at Rs 12326.90 crore for the quarter from Rs 11331.90 crore in the similar quarter of previous year.
