Foreign institutional investors’ (FIIs) have decreased their shareholding in Larsen & Toubro (L&T) by 79 basis points to 18.82% at the end of September 2014 quarter from 19.61% as on Jun 30, 2014. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have also reduced shareholding in L&T over the last three months. DIIs’ shareholding decreased by 87 basis points to 35.69% at the end of September 2014 quarter from 36.56% as on June 30, 2014.

However, Non Institutions were holding 43.24% stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 174 basis points from 41.5% as on June 30, 2014. Corporate bodies were holding 8.28% stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, up 111 basis points from 7.17% as on June 30, 2014.
