Nestle India has reported results for third quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company has posted a rise of 9.22% in its net profit at Rs 311.29 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 285 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income increased by 8.51% at Rs 2585.96 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2383.08 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

Nestle India has its presence in India for around nine decades, making it one of the oldest company in India. Nestle has created brands like Nestle Milkmaid, Nestle Everyday, Maggi Noodles, Maggi Soups, Polo, Kit Kat, Nescafe and many more.
