Date: 30-10-2014Container Corporation of India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The company has registered 20.93% fall in its net profit at Rs 191.88 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 242.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased 8.58% at Rs 1446.83 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 1332.47 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Container Corporation of India is engaged in the business of transportation through containerization and it is the market leader having the largest network of 59 ICDs/CFSs in India.
