ICICI Bank reports 14% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

ICICI Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The bank has posted a rise of 15.18% in its net profit at Rs 2709.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 2352.05 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 14.71% at Rs 14888.95 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 12979.75 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

On consolidated basis, the bank’s net profit for the quarter under review registered 13.61% growth at Rs 3064.62 crore against Rs 2697.42 crore in the September quarter of previous fiscal. The bank’s total income from operations has increased by 16.49% at Rs 22150.39 crore for the quarter from Rs 19015.18 crore in the similar quarter of previous year.
