National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has been awarded with Golden Peacock Global Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance -2014. The award was received by the company at a ceremony held in London, UK.

This year in August, the company had been conferred with the outstanding PSU of the year 2014 at the prestigious All India Management Association (AIMA) Managing India Awards -2014.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
