Axis Bank gains on entering into MoU with South Korea based NH Bank

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 461.40, up by 3.70 points or 0.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 457.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 459.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 464.50 and Rs. 459.90 respectively. So far 83624 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 464.50 on 07-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 202.33 on 13-Nov-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 464.50 and Rs. 422.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 108032.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.88% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.42% and 9.00% respectively.

Axis Bank, a private sector lender has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NongHyup Bank (NH Bank) to enhance cooperation in treasury, trade and other business between India and South Korea. NH Bank is one of the largest banks in South Korea with an asset base of $185 billion.

The MoU aims to reinforce trade and economic relationship between South Korea and India, and will promote mutual development through business cooperation.

Besides, Axis Bank has raised $20 million through senior notes in the International Market. The bank on November 06, 2014 has allotted Senior Notes aggregating to $20 million under the MTN Programme through its Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) branch.
