Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, has launched ‘One Touch Internet’, to allow first-time users to discover the power of Internet on phone. ‘One Touch Internet’ is a WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) portal designed with a simple, secure and intuitive interface that is aimed to simplify Internet services for non-data users.

With this, the company plans to increase its mobile data business from the prepaid segment. As of now, around 90% of the customers are on pre-paid plans and only a small per cent of the overall pre-paid base uses mobile data services.
