M&M gains on raising prices of its vehicle by an average of 1%

M&M is currently trading at Rs. 1261.00, up by 0.35 points or 0.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 1260.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1275.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1275.00 and Rs. 1262.70 respectively. So far 7,104 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1421.00 on 04-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 847.00 on 04-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1275.00 and Rs. 1221.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 78,282.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.78% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 56.61% and 12.28% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has increased prices of its passenger and commercial vehicles by an average of 1%. This increase would be in the range of Rs 2,300 to Rs 11,500 (ex-showroom) depending on the model and has been effective this month.
