Tata Steel has bagged the award at ‘NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards 2011’ in the ‘Metal Category’ at the ceremony held in Mumbai on January 07, 2012. The award was received by managing director of the company from the finance minister. The award is recognition of the various initiatives and innovations taken up by the company to respond and adapt to the ever changing business scenario.

The NDTV Profit Business Leadership awards were instituted to recognize organisational excellence. The awards acknowledge India’s most dynamic organisations that have emerged leaders in their respective fields and are leading India in its quest to become an economic superpower.
