M&M's team will be heading for US to demonstrate the prototype. This is a positive step towards creating low-cost, affordable housing for the world's poor.
Vijay Govindarajan and Christian Sarkar, bloggers on the Harvard Business Review website conceived 'US 300 House Open Design Challenge’. M&M has been recognized in the corporate entries category of the 'US 300 House Open Design Challenge’. The challenge is supported by Jovoto and Ingersoll Rand.
A team from the Mahindra Partners Division submitted an entry on hearing about this competition. The company received the global award of recognition for corporate participation and will be proceeding to the US for a prototyping workshop.
