-0.35 (-0.10%) Tata Motors’ British-based arm Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR) has continued to maintain positive sales performance year-to-date, retailing 421,286 vehicles, up 10% versus the same period last year. In November, Jaguar Land Rover sold 36,621 vehicles, down 2%, largely reflecting product launch factors.
Jaguar Land Rover's regional performance in November shows 10% growth in the China Region, 5% in Asia Pacific and 5% in the UK, while sales in Europe markets down by 3%, in North America down 17% and in Other Overseas markets were down 12% for the month.
Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
