HDFC Bank opens its 100th branch in Andhra Pradesh

HDFC Bank, the second-largest private sector bank in India, has opened its 100th branch in Andhra Pradesh (AP) in Vijayawada city on December 23, 2014. The bank took fifteen years to reach 100 branches in AP since it launched its first branch in 1999. Currently, the bank is operating its services from all the thirteen districts of AP and planning to enter new areas including rural segments.

HDFC Bank is one of India’s premier banks providing a wide range of financial products and services to its 28.9 million customers. As of June 30, 2014, the bank had a distribution network with 3,488 branches and 11,426 ATMs in 2,231 cities/towns. The bank offers all services under one roof right from savings account, current account, demat account, auto loans and agriculture loans.
