Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

The Metallurgical, Material Handling & Water Operating Company of Larsen & Toubro has secured orders totalling Rs 747 crore. The company has secured a Rs 276-crore contract from Coal India for a coal handling plant for its northern coalfield project in Madhya Pradesh. The order is slated for completion in 24 months.

The second order worth Rs 260 crore is from Indiabulls Power for the supply and erection of coal handling plants at its thermal units in Amaravati and Nasik. The project is scheduled for completion in 28 months.

The third order worth Rs 211 crore has been secured from Hindalco Industries for an aluminium rolling mill complex. This is for Hindalco's Hirakud unit in Orissa. The order is scheduled for completion in 16 months.
