Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 20.66% jump in total sales of its Eicher branded products at 3,387 units in December as against 2,807 units sold in the year-ago period.
Domestic sales registered a growth of 26.6% to 3,002 units in December as against 2,372 units in the same month in 2013. However, exports of Eicher trucks and buses fell by 11.5% to 385 units last month as against 435 units in the same month in the previous month.
