Gayatri Projects gets Rs 2,200-cr road project

Gayatri Projects Ltd has secured mandate for development of Hyderabad-Karimnagar-Ramagundam road project worth Rs 2,200 crore to be taken up under BOT (build, operate and transfer) mode. This public-private partnership road project, which involves four-laning, has been awarded to the Hyderabad-based infra company by Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation.

The project is to be completed within 30 months. This toll-based project has a concession period of 25 years, including construction period. The concessioning authority will provide an equity support of Rs 454 crore. The company currently has an order book of about Rs 6,000 crore.
