Tilaknagar Industries to spend Rs 100 crore for expansion

Tilaknagar Industries is likely to spend Rs 100 crore in expanding its operations in Andhra Pradesh. This investment is part of the capex plan. The company also plans to introduce its Mansion House brand whisky in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in February. 

The company looking for nod from the state government aims to expand the Prag distillery in Rajamundry. The company is upbeat following the favorable judgment on the ownership of the trademark of Mansion House and Savoy Club brands. During 2011, the company has invested Rs 300 crore in two distilleries in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. It aims to grow at 20% during the next fiscal.

Tilaknagar Industries is one of the renowned Indian Made Foreign Liquor players (including whisky, brandy, gin, rum and vodka) with presence across India. The company manufactures, markets and sells more than 40 brands across all price points.
