JSW Steel’s crude steel production in January 2015 increased by 1% and stood at 11.20 lakh tonnes (LT) as compared to 11.09 lakh tonnes in January 2014. The production of rolled products (long) increased by 4% to 1.76 lakh tonnes compared to 1.68 lakh tonnes in January last year. Meanwhile, the production of rolled products (flat) during the month increased 9% to 9.07 lakh tonnes as compared to last year’s level of 8.35 lakh tonnes.
