Coal India Ltd.

Coal India has received its board approval for roadmap to achieve 1.00 billion tonne of coal production by 2019-20 by CIL and its subsidiaries alongwith technological plan. As per the Roadmap approved, CIL and its subsidiaries are expected to achieve 908.10 MT of coal production in 2019-20. The company’s board gave the approval for the same at its meeting held on February 13, 2015.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
