-4.05 (-1.13%) NTPC has received an investment approval for Khargone Super Thermal Power Project (2 x 660 MW) in the state of Madhya Pradesh at an appraised current estimated cost of Rs 9,870.51 crore subject to Environment Clearance of Ministry of Environment and Forests. The board of directors at their meeting held on February 25, 2015 have approved for the same.
Further, the board of directors has also accorded approval to the proposal for the company’s commitment to Government of India for setting up 10,000 MW of Renewable Energy Projects during the next five years.
