Hindustan Zinc Ltd.

In a bid to create awareness on road safety, Hindustan Zinc (HZL) has entered into partnership with Rajasthan Parivahan Nirikshak Sangh (RPNS), a body affiliated to All India Federation of Motor Vehicles Department Technical Executive Officers Association, Bangalore.

As part of the initiative, a unique Road Safety Mobile Van project has been sponsored by HZL under the Rajasthan Road Safety Awareness Mission Program. The mobile van has a LCD projector, a high-decibel sound system and special learning tools to reach out to a large audience, especially in villages.

Hindustan Zinc manufactures three qualities of zinc -- special high grade zinc used in construction, infrastructure, household appliances etc; high grade zinc and prime western zinc. It manufactures silver used in photographic material, conductor, jewellery, etc.
