FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on February 6, 2012: SEBI

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3192.30 crore against gross sell of Rs 2218.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 974.00 crore in equities on February 6, 2012.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 663.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 921.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 258.70 crore in debt on February 6, 2012.
