The Exchange had sought clarification from Mahindra & Mahindra with respect to news article appearing on ET Now on March 25, 2015 titled 'Mahindra said to be in talks to buy auto designer pininfarina'. Mahindra & Mahindra replied stating that the Company wishes to clarify that the report is speculative in nature and that there are no arrangements which the Company has entered into, which require disclosure under clause 36 of the Listing Agreement. Given the policy of the Company of not commenting on speculative news/reports, they will not be able to comment on the same. As in the past, the Company would continue to inform stock exchanges about any price sensitive information before the same is made public.
