NTPC, the largest power utility of the country has been adjudged the Maharatna of the Year- Manufacturing by the premier Investment Journal Dalal Street. The company has received this award at the 6th DSIJ Awards Ceremony held in New Delhi.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
