FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on May 19, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Thursday were net sellers in equities segment, while they were net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2458.30 crore against gross sell of Rs 2718.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 259.90 crore in equities on May 19, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 585.30 crore with gross sales of Rs 340.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 244.90 crore in debt on May 19, 2011.
