Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY Mellon) has sold shares worth over Rs 23 crore in Apollo Hospitals. The shares were sold in the open market on March 27. BNY Mellon sold a total of 1,65,777 shares (or 0.12 per cent stake) of the group for a total of Rs 23,05,99,919 on the BSE and the NSE on March 27, 2015.
Post the sale, BNY Mellon’s stake in Apollo Hospitals Enterprises has come down to 3.13 per cent from the earlier 3.24 per cent, the filing added.
