SBI Life Insurance, a joint venture life insurance company between State Bank of India (SBI), and BNP Paribas Assurance has strategically expanded its Aurangabad Area office, with an independent premises named as "SBI Life Bhavan" at plot no 17, Welcome Nagar, Sutagiri Chowk, Aurangabad. This new premises will offer all products and services to the company’s customers under one roof and is projected to be the one stop shop for all Life Insurance needs in Marathwada area.

State Bank of India is an Indian multinational, Public Sector banking and financial services company. It is a government-owned corporation with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The bank has registered a rise of 30.24% in its net profit at Rs 2910.06 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2014 under review as compared to Rs 2234.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
