NTPC has initiated a pan-India vendor enlistment drive for its plants across the country. This move is aimed at facilitating vendors to take part in procurement across the country. The value of spares sourcing is expected to be around Rs 2,000 crore and another Rs 1,600 crore for services.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
