-10.20 (-0.90%) State-owned life insurer, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has increased its stake in Infosys to 4.81%, purchasing shares worth over Rs 300 crore in the January-March quarter. This is the fourth consecutive quarter of share purchase by LIC in the software services firm. LIC held 4.69% stake in Infosys during the October-December quarter.
However, domestic institutional investors’ (DIIs) holding in Infosys declined to 15.1%, from 15.28%, while foreign institutional investors’ (FIIs) stake dropped to 37.96% from 41.58%.
